Tops and FamilyMart join Scholars of Sustenance (SOS),
passing on a caring heart to those in need by inviting Thais to donate Survival Bags
to those affected by COVID-19 through “Do it together. Do it with heart.”

While the COVID-19 situation in Thailand has continued to improve, there are still many people in some industries and conditions whose sources of income have been affected as not 100% of the businesses have resumed. Central Food Retail, operator of Tops and FamilyMart under Central Retail, partners with Scholars Of Sustenance (SOS), a foundation that collects excess food from businesses and delivers them to those in need, inviting everyone to give and pass on a caring heart by purchasing a Survival Bag card in “Do it together Do it with heart” Each card is worth a Survival Bag, which consists of dry food and items of necessity such as rice, canned fish, milk, fish sauce and masks. Those who want to join this giving activity can purchase a Survival Bag card for 250 baht each at cashier counters of Tops, Central Food Hall, and Tops Online, or redeem 2,000 The1 points. At FamilyMart, a Survival Bag card is 100 baht each, or redeem 800 The1 points. The activity is from today to October 31, 2020.

 Tops, FamilyMart and SOS will deliver the bags to those whose sources of income have been affected by the COVID-19 outbreak as well as 5,000 households from 29 communities and foundations in various parts of Bangkok, vicinities, and Phuket, such as  Rachawadee Home for Persons with Disabilities Protection and Development (for Boys),  Duang Prateep Foundation, House of Blessing Foundation, Nonthaburi Protection Center for the Destitute, Merit Hands Foundation, Human Rights and Development Foundation, Baan Aun Rak, Mercy Center, Bangkok Noi Community, Lad Bua Khao Community, Onnut 14 Rai Community, Rangsit-Pathumthani 43 Community, Sai Mai Community, Good Shepherd Home Foundation,Child-Watch Phuket, Phuket Shelter for Children and Families, Phuket Sunshine Village Foundation, and St Euphrasia Banya Literacy Center in Phuket. It is hoped that this activity will help ease the difficulties and burden of those affected. Recently, the company has delivered Survival Bags to affected communities and provided medical supplies to needy hospitals.
